Learning to Listen

Continued....

Two weeks ago SK Leaders Collective officially started with its first retreat! There are 11 participants from 4 different churches from across the province.  We gathered together for a weekend of getting to know each other, sharing expectations and hopes, and beginning to learn together from many gifted teachers, as well as from each other.

With a lot of help from our family (looking after our 4 kids for the weekend) Terri and I were able to be a part of the whole weekend! It was a blessing to help host and look after many details of the weekend, as well as lead a couple times of worship. It was encouraging to see how ready this group was to build relationships and to engage in the many topics covered throughout the weekend. This program will go a long way in not only equipping leaders, but also connecting the many young leaders across the churches of the province.

We are glad to be in our positions with Multiply in Saskatchewan, and glad to see how we can help when we listen well and respond with support - especially when it puts us in a closer relationship with our provincial partners. We will continue seeking ways to listen well, and pray that God continues His good work in us and those around us.
