July Prayer Requests

TREK participants have dispersed across the globe and are engaging in ministry with their local leaders. Pray that as they enter into new cultures they will continue to walk with humility, thankfulness, and love. Pray that they will be able to build strong relationships with their new communities, and find ways to engage with Jesus in what He is doing in each area of the world. Liam (in Japan), Chrystal (in Thailand), Katie (in Thailand), as well as Kyle & Sarah (in Winnipeg/Turkey) would deeply appreciate your prayers! Specifically, please pray for Sarah as she is pregnant and is due in a couple months!

Join us in praying for our newest team member, Jaymie Anderton, who is about to begin serving in Alberta. Pray that God will give her direction and favour as she begins to mobilize young adults into mission. Pray for relationship and trust with local churches, as well as perseverance and courage as she serves as Multiply's only representative in Alberta. You can also pray for Jaymie as she is also in the process of raising support for this ministry.

Pray for our ACTION team in Brazil as they wrap up their time serving. Pray for continued team unity, opportunities to partner with Jesus in what He is doing in Brazil, and new depths of relationship with God for our participants (Liam, William, Brielle). 

Pray for our Winnipeg ACTION team from Lithuania.  They have just returned home after 10 days working in the North End with Living Word Temple.  Pray that they are able to decompress and share their experiences with those around them.

News from Japan!        Due to formatting issues, some pictures were omitted.   Doris Goertz “ So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.” Colossians 2:6 Baptism July 28, 2019 was a special day as four new believers were baptized in Amagasaki church. What a blessing it was to hear their testimonies and see them declare their faith in Jesus. My 74- year-old English student, Tsuyoshi, invited his two sons and their families to witness this special occasion in his life and they all came. Along with Tsuyoshi, three women were also baptized. As I listened to their testimonies, I was encouraged by the way that God deals with each individual very personally and draws them to himself in unique ways.
