Bringing Sight to the Blind

Although glasses are not what we tend to think of when we imagine Jesus bringing sight to the blind (nor is it what he did back in the books of the New Testament!), it can certainly still be one of the many ways of showing love, connecting the body of Christ and showing hospitality.

And that's just what Greg facilitates with his unique position with Multiply and Global Vision 2020. 

Greg will start his journey in Atlanta doing some Operation Mobilization Training & partnership in order to serve the Bible School in Kabwe, Zambia (OM Kabwe Bible School).  When in Zambia, he will complete the training for one of the staff there so that she can train others to distribute glasses, ultimately working himself out of a job (at least in Kabwe!)  This bible school is situated at a literal crossroads, making itself a hub for many people who live in southern Africa.

Pastor Athanase out of Parliament Community Church in Saskatchewan will be in Zambia with Greg connecting with churches plants he was involved with when he lived in Africa as well as bringing the glasses to these places.

Afterwards they will be visiting Zimbabwe doing similar work.

What a journey!

News from Japan!        Due to formatting issues, some pictures were omitted.   Doris Goertz “ So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.” Colossians 2:6 Baptism July 28, 2019 was a special day as four new believers were baptized in Amagasaki church. What a blessing it was to hear their testimonies and see them declare their faith in Jesus. My 74- year-old English student, Tsuyoshi, invited his two sons and their families to witness this special occasion in his life and they all came. Along with Tsuyoshi, three women were also baptized. As I listened to their testimonies, I was encouraged by the way that God deals with each individual very personally and draws them to himself in unique ways.
