ACTION CAMP 2019!!

   

Kelly, Lani, Sam & Elizabeth Wiens came out to to ACTION camp to rest and engage in discernment community and with Jesus.  They are from Saskatchewan where they currently farm.  They were such a joy to have with us.

Our ACTION Winnipeg Team came from Lithuania.  From left to right is Marija, Emilija & Kristina.  They spent the week at Orientation then ten days living and serving in Winnipeg's North End with Living Word Temple.  You will hear a bit more of their story in the coming month!

Our ACTION Brazil Team from left to right is William,  Liam and Brielle.  They are serving with the local MB church in Brazil.  

Marc & Hilde Pranger with their three children, Wietze, Jonna & Kristi came down to ACTION camp to both support and build community.  They are a family serving in Winnipeg's North End in a particular neighbourhood that although has a high population of low income housing, often gets over looked.

We had teaching times every day.  This particular day Katherine Thomas came to facilitate a blanket exercise, teaching on the history of colonization and the impacts on indigenous people in the land.  She is pictured centre on the picture below.

Although not pictured below, Cam Priebe, our new Provincial Director came down and taught on the Five Fold Ministry.  Lloyd taught alongside him and led a little experiment, taking one person from each group and having them work out a vision statement while others watched.

Ryan and Terri Epp came for the week from Saskatchewan and led our children's program.  They served selflessly, teaching the kids songs and lessons and planning fun activities for the kids.  Thanks Ryan & Terri.  

We were blessed to have Robyn Froese come and lead our worship times.  We opened and closed every day with a time of worship.  Thank you Robyn for bringing who you are and making the space for us to engage in a worship in a meaningful way.
