TREK CC 2019 Has Launched!
Crystal Reimer
My name is Crystal Reimer, I'm twenty-six years old, from Miami Manitoba, and attend the Evangelical Mennonite Mission Church in Winkler. I completed my bachelor of arts degree at Brandon University in 2015, which includes a major in English, and a split minor in drawing and theater. I have many interests, but a few highlights are art, community theater, and reading fictional novels (especially mystery and coming of age ones). I've always had a soft spot for animals, love playing board games with my family, and enjoy spending afternoons in summer with a great book and an iced coffee/ tea. My heart goes out to those that don't know God's love and it is my desire to share the Good News to all that will listen!
Thank you for your prayers and support as I prepare for this new venture.
Sarah, Kyle & Avonlea Miller
Our names are Kyle, Sarah and Avonlea Miller and we are super excited to enter into a new chapter of our life through Trek! Our purpose in this is to discern the prospect of long term missions.A little over a month ago, when we were well into the process of applying to Trek, we discovered some wonderful news. Our family will be expanding once more in September. At first this made us second guess our timing with Trek, but then we read an article in the MB Herald about a family who did something very similar to us, joining trek with the arrival of a new born in the mix of it all. This gave us so much assurance and much needed peace about our decision.
One thing Lloyd and Carol counselled us on in this decision is to remember, “when you go overseas, you’re still the same people: Kyle and Sarah.” This gave us a lot of peace, knowing that, though God will use this to stretch us and rearrange our hearts, he will not erase the way he has created us. We will still be Sarah and Kyle.
We eagerly anticipate this next phase as we entrust our lives to the care and guidance of the Spirit. Our hearts are already blessed by your care and support.

As far as my church life goes, I’m heavily involved with my home church, The Meeting Place. I work there extremely part-time as a caretaker, and I also volunteer with the church’s youth group as a small group leader to an amazing crew of grade 10 boys. I also participate and help out with the young adults group at the church.
