Richard & Hazel Funk
Before they were Richard and Hazel, Richard’s first missional experience was with an
organization called OM (Operation Mobilization) where he spent 1 ½ years. After their marriage
they joined BOMAS (Board of Mission and Service - one of the many former names
of what is now Multiply) and this brought them to Austria, initially on a short-term mission in
1975 to 1977. Then, ten years later they returned in the summer of 1987 and began their
current assignment where they continue to live and serve.

We are in awe of their faithfulness to the service that God has called them to and are very
excited to have them teaching at our TREK program this year. We have much to glean!
