FOCUS

It was a fabulous week of developing community together over 10 days of living in close quarters, cooking together and really engaging in a community lifestyle.

 Part of the focus of this time was contextualization and the importance of seeing through this lens in a mission setting.  The group made friends with some local community members, both indigenous.  They were privileged to hear people’s stories and submerge in the community, for some, “turning their heart of stone to a heart of flesh” as they began to understand another’s perspective and experience.
